Teeny tiny mini mochi

I have been knitting teeny tiny rabbits for Easter gifts. They are knitted on 2mm needles (just like cocktail sticks) and are really cute, but pretty fiddly.

Then, for a change I decided a reversible bunny/duck was in order. This was beyond cute, and got kidnapped by my mum for a friend, so will need to knit more of these.  The photo is before they were joined as pretty tricky to photograph otherwise.

Then the foray into mini toys just got ridiculous. My middle niece asked for this for her birthday. My Mum has a book of knitted meerkats, and she chose this one. It was a pain to knit, and even worse to make up, and I will not be making another. Prehistoric dinosaur meerkat.

Off to knit a hedgehog now. Then back to the soothing knitting of socks.

  1. Still can't believe you have the patience to make these but then again you are one of the most patient people I know! Still in love with the meerkat!
